First concert of Kilshannig in 2008 resounding success!

The first concert of Kilshannig this year was given last Saturday evening Januari 12th in the beautiful town hall of Oudewater. It was organized by the "Culturele Raad Oudewater", and completely sold out. Reactions of the enthusiastic public on this attractive, acoustic New Year concert were overwhelming. Eerste concert van Kilshannig in 2008 groot succes!

Het eerste concert dat Kilshannig dit jaar heeft gegeven vond afgelopen zaterdag 12 januari plaats in het schitterende stadhuis van Oudewater. Het was georganiseerd door de Culturele Raad Oudewater en geheel uitverkocht. De reacties van het enthousiaste publiek op het akoestische optreden waren overweldigend. October 21, 2006, Kilshannig did the first "Holy Ground Concert" together with uillean-piper James Mahon, in a small church in Oud Beijerland, organized by Barend van Straten. A report of this concert written by Wim Schipper is presented here as PDF (in Dutch).

Op 21 oktober 2006 speelde Kilshannig het eerste "Holy Ground Concert" samen met uillean-piper James Mahon in een kerkje in Oud Beijerland, georganiseerd door Barend van Straten. Een verslag van dit optreden is hier als PDF beschikbaar.

A recent acoustic gig in "Toonbeeld" (Castricum, 24-09-2006), was reviewed in "Nieuwsblad voor Castricum" four days later.
A copy of the article (in Dutch) is given alongside.

Van een akoestisch optreden in "Toonbeeld" in Castricum op 24 september 2006 verscheen vier dagen later een recensie in het "Nieuwsblad voor Castricum".
